Jenner shipped out for package

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced the acquisition of forward Radek Faksa, defenceman John Ludvig and goaltender Joel Hofer from the Boston Bruins in exchange for forward Boone Jenner. "Let's face it, this has been a disastrous season so far and changes have been coming," said GM Garrett Hansford. "Radek is a smart pro who will join us immediately while John and Joel will continue their seasons with Portland of the WHL." In 35 games this season Faksa has scored 5 goals with 6 assists and is a -6. Hofer backstopped Canada to gold at the recently completed World Junior Championship. He was the 88th overall pick of the 2018 draft. He has a .932 save percentage in 30 games for Portland of the WHL this year. Ludvig was selected 100th overall in 2019 and has scored 13 goals with 23 assists and is +39 this season in 41 games. Toronto, who was expected to compete for a playoff position has struggled all season and currently sit 28th in the league with a 13-22-0 record.
